As stipulated by the Medtech regulation and by Assobiomedica, companies in Europe can no longer directly supply any contribution aimed at supporting the training of a specific health professional, either as a participant or as a speaker in a specific training event. This educational grant shall be delivered exclusively in favour of a medical organisation and/or third party (Scientific Societies or PCO), which select the beneficiary professionals of the contribution and define the scientific content of the event.
Of course an exception is made in the case of scientific symposia, where Companies can directly support costs for the faculty involved, only during the specific symposium.
Educational Grants are appreciated and important to the success of ICSES 2023.
The industry will entrust AIM Group International and provide Educational Grants directly, and AIM Group International will invite Healthcare Organizations (HCOs) to select the HCPs who will benefit from the Educational Grant.

Details and names received after JULY 30, 2023 will not be processed.
The Organising Secretariat will not be responsible for delays or unused grants and purchased Educational Grants will not be reimbursed.

Dear friends, Physiotherapists and Rehabilitation Doctors,
As President of the newly founded ICSSSET (International Confederation of Scientific Societies for Shoulder & Elbow Therapy – founded by representatives of EUSSER, SEPA, ASSET and JSS), it is my great pleasure to announce the 7th ICSET World Congress (International Congress Shoulder & Elbow Therapy) that will be held in Rome from the 6th to 8th of September 2023 in the splendid setting of the Cavalieri Hilton Hotel, with an unmissable view over all of Rome.
The Congress will see the participation of famous experts of the sector from all over the world, both physiotherapists and surgeons, that will share the most up-to-date knowledge regarding the management of shoulder and elbow pathologies both conservatively and possibly post-surgically.
Moreover, three pre-congress courses, aimed at managing specific pathologies and expressly set up to foster cultural and experiential exchange with the teachers, will precede the Congress.
In addition, for the first time in the history of the ICSET congresses, with their registration fee, the participants at the Congress will be able to participate not only in the ICSET Congress works (i.e., targeted symposiums, presentation of original scientific papers, debates between surgeons and physiotherapists, keynote lectures by famous therapists & surgeons, parallel workshops aimed at acquiring knowledge and skills useful in daily work practice) but also at the ICSES Congress sessions (the surgeon’s Congress): two birds with one stone!
You wish to come to Rome from extra EU, but cannot make it? No worries, we got you covered!
Aware of the difficulties that there might be in coming to Rome from faraway, thanks to ad hoc video streaming, it will also be possible (only for extra EU Physiotherapists) to remotely participate in the main sessions of the Congress. Such great efforts have been put to have your maximum participation both in presence and remotely: we strive for a real sharing of scientific, technical and experiential knowledge to benefit everyone, and your participation is important to us!

it is our great pleasure to announce the 15th ICSES Congress and to extend a cordial invitation to attend the next International Congress of Shoulder and Elbow Surgery which will be held in Rome from September 5 to 8, 2023, at the Rome Cavalieri Waldorf Astoria Hotel. The Congress Venue will undoubtedly provide a worthy setting for the Conference proceedings and can accommodate the large number of participants and diversified scientific and educational activities that characterize the ICSES Meetings, with suitable exhibition space for Industry.
World experts in the field of Shoulder and Elbow Surgery will share their research, knowledge and experience and the Event will be an opportunity for exchanging expertise and fellowship amongst shoulder and elbow surgeons worldwide.
The scientific programme will include Instructional Courses Lectures, Live Surgeries, Debates and Round Tables on issues of major current interest and controversy and will reserve a wide space to the practical aspects. An important contribution will also come from Symposia organized by Industry.
Finally, a significant portion of the scientific programme will be devoted to original scientific data via oral and poster presentations of abstracts selected by peer review as during previous meetings.
