UNEXPECTED CANCELLATION OF THE EVENT OR IMPOSSIBILITY TO HOLD IT
In the unlikely case that the “ICSES 2023” cannot be held in whole or in part due to any event beyond the Organizers’ control or force majeure (such as riot, fire, explosion, accident, flood, earthquake, sabotage, strikes, acts of law or regulation by Italian or foreign Authorities, epidemic outbreak, sanitary emergency, etc.) the Congress Organizers cannot be held liable for any damage, cost, or loss incurred, such as registration fee, transportation and accommodation costs, or any other direct or indirect loss or consequential damage.

Dear friends, Physiotherapists and Rehabilitation Doctors,
As President of the newly founded ICSSSET (International Confederation of Scientific Societies for Shoulder & Elbow Therapy – founded by representatives of EUSSER, SEPA, ASSET and JSS), it is my great pleasure to announce the 7th ICSET World Congress (International Congress Shoulder & Elbow Therapy) that will be held in Rome from the 6th to 8th of September 2023 in the splendid setting of the Cavalieri Hilton Hotel, with an unmissable view over all of Rome.
The Congress will see the participation of famous experts of the sector from all over the world, both physiotherapists and surgeons, that will share the most up-to-date knowledge regarding the management of shoulder and elbow pathologies both conservatively and possibly post-surgically.
Moreover, three pre-congress courses, aimed at managing specific pathologies and expressly set up to foster cultural and experiential exchange with the teachers, will precede the Congress.
In addition, for the first time in the history of the ICSET congresses, with their registration fee, the participants at the Congress will be able to participate not only in the ICSET Congress works (i.e., targeted symposiums, presentation of original scientific papers, debates between surgeons and physiotherapists, keynote lectures by famous therapists & surgeons, parallel workshops aimed at acquiring knowledge and skills useful in daily work practice) but also at the ICSES Congress sessions (the surgeon’s Congress): two birds with one stone!
You wish to come to Rome from extra EU, but cannot make it? No worries, we got you covered!
Aware of the difficulties that there might be in coming to Rome from faraway, thanks to ad hoc video streaming, it will also be possible (only for extra EU Physiotherapists) to remotely participate in the main sessions of the Congress. Such great efforts have been put to have your maximum participation both in presence and remotely: we strive for a real sharing of scientific, technical and experiential knowledge to benefit everyone, and your participation is important to us!
My goal, and that of the entire ICSSSET board, is to put at your disposal a platform dedicated to … “Lifting up the Global Knowledge”!

Dear Friends, Dear Colleagues,
it is our great pleasure to announce the 15th ICSES Congress and to extend a cordial invitation to attend the next International Congress of Shoulder and Elbow Surgery which will be held in Rome from September 5 to 8, 2023, at the Rome Cavalieri Waldorf Astoria Hotel. The Congress Venue will undoubtedly provide a worthy setting for the Conference proceedings and can accommodate the large number of participants and diversified scientific and educational activities that characterize the ICSES Meetings, with suitable exhibition space for Industry.
World experts in the field of Shoulder and Elbow Surgery will share their research, knowledge and experience and the Event will be an opportunity for exchanging expertise and fellowship amongst shoulder and elbow surgeons worldwide.
The scientific programme will include Instructional Courses Lectures, Live Surgeries, Debates and Round Tables on issues of major current interest and controversy and will reserve a wide space to the practical aspects. An important contribution will also come from Symposia organized by Industry.
Finally, a significant portion of the scientific programme will be devoted to original scientific data via oral and poster presentations of abstracts selected by peer review as during previous meetings.
There are several reasons to attend the Congress in Rome. ICSES 2023 will serve as a leading platform to “Lifting up the Global Knowledge”:
We will be pleased to meeting old friends and making new ones in one of the world’s most influential and captivating cities.
